Meet the Professor
The "Meet the Professor" Sessions will take place in the mornings. During these sessions you will have the opportunity to discuss scientific life and career with a Professor in a relaxed atmosphere. A typical Viennese breakfast is included. Space is limited. Tickets are issued on a first-come-first-serve basis.

How to register
Pre-Registration will be closed on Sunday, November 28, 2010.
On-site registration is possible at the following opening hours of the registration desk:
Friday, December 3, 2010: 13.00 – 20.00 hrs
Saturday, December 4, 2010: 07.30 – 19.00 hrs
Sunday, December 5, 2010: 07.30 – 13.00 hrs
The registration fee covers
- Admission to all scientific sessions, exhibition and poster area
- coffee break
- poster sessions with wine and cheese / würstel and beer
- abstract book and programme
The ticket to the Heurigen (Viennese tavern) costs EUR 35 per person and can be purchased in the registration process. Food, drinks and bus transport is included.
Payment modalities
Payment of registration fees may be made in EURO by:

at the Erste Bank, Alser Strasse 23, 1080 Vienna, Austria.
Beneficiary: Vienna Medical Academy
Payments should be made without charges to the beneficiary. Any bank charges will be collected on site. Clearly state the participant's name(s), matching with the name(s) on the registration form.
- Credit Cards: Diners Club, Mastercard and Visa.
Please note: The Early Fee is only applicable if payment has been credited to the congress account before November 6, 2010. Registering before the deadline without performing an actual payment is not sufficient to benefit from the reduction.
Confirmation of Registration
You will receive a confirmation of registration by email when the registration form has been received and the payment has been credited to the congress account. Kindly note that payments made within two weeks prior to the conference cannot be confirmed in writing. In this case, it is essential for you to bring proof of payment of your registration fee when collecting the registration material.
After November 28, 2010 pre-registration will be closed, but you may register on-site from Friday, December 3, 2010 from 10.00 hrs on.
Cancellations and refunds
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by registered letter or fax/email to the Congress Office.
Registration fees may be refunded as follows:
Written cancellation received:
- before November 6, 2010: 50% refund
- after November 6, 2010: no refund
The date of the postmark or fax ID/email received will be the basis for considering refunds. Please indicate your banking information (account number, account holder, name and address of bank, IBAN and BIC code) in your written cancellation. Refunds will be made after the congress only.
